ShareFest is a network of churches in Antioch, Lake Villa, & Lindenhurst working together to serve the community motivated by the love of Jesus Christ. ShareFest began six years ago with the belief that churches in our local area can do more together than any can do separately to impact the community. ShareFest is an annual event in which churches and organizations in the Lake County, Illinois area unite to serve the community.

More than 10 community churches and organizations will participate in several community service projects in the Lake Villa, Antioch and Lindenhurst areas. The work projects include food drive, senior home assistance, Children’s ShareFest and doll making, furniture/appliance collection and distribution and several blood drive locations.

Over the last 6 years the ShareFest organization has renovated over 450 senior’s homes, collected over 80,000 lbs of food for a local food bank, built and distributed over 130 bunk beds to families in need, collected over 525 units of blood and helped over 300 families with furniture and appliance needs within our community.

“I’m here to say that churches do make a difference especially here in our community with the need being so great. I give many thanks and blessings to the churches of ShareFest for all they have done in service to our community”. Dorothy A. Larson, Former Mayor of Antioch, Illinois.
